Where It Is

Open the console from the toolbar or dashboard, then open the Global Settings console.

This console has three tabs: Global Settings, Templates & Files, and Input Fields (Input Fields is visible only in dev mode).

System

• Site status: Active, Inactive, or Maintenance.
• Language: Default locale used for new content and UI.
• Debug mode: Enables extra debugging output for developers.

Brand Settings

• Site icon (.ico): Favicon used by browsers.
• Site icon (.png): PNG icon for platforms that prefer PNG.

Storage

• System backup: Currently locked on by default.
• Hard remove files: When enabled, deleted files are removed from disk.

Toolbar

• Toolbar items: Toggle which core and addon tools appear in the admin toolbar.
• Show labels: Shows text labels next to toolbar tools.

Dashboard

• Dashboard cards: Enable or disable dashboard widgets from core and addons.

Development

• Developer mode: Hidden switch shown after repeated clicks on the label.

Tips

• Some sections are locked until you click the label multiple times (server settings and dev mode).
• Changes apply immediately after saving.
